He eventually isolated an eight-note melodic phrase beginning with four C-notes and two B-notes that he said seemed to indicate some musical borrowing on the part of Perry's songwriters.ĭecker said the melody for both phrases sits on the same note for four beats before descending in pitch. What's really blowing my mind right now is that Chris and Tom Hooper from Grapes of Wrath (an actual brother band!) are rocking the exact same look as Gary Louris from the Jayhawks (a psuedo brother band).įor the curious, here is what an expert witness for the rap artists - musicologist Todd Decker - testified on Friday (as reported in Law 360):įor this suit, Decker said he listened to Gray's 2008 song "Joyful Noise" and Perry's 2013 song "Dark Horse" back to back "countless times" before plunking notes out on a piano to try to figure out any similar-sounding patterns between the two songs. But the Grapes of Wrath song sounds more similar, actually. Pray for Me came out three years before Fire Escape, Miles Zuniga from Fastball is a documented fan of the Jayhawks, etc etc. I thought that Fastball guitar riff came from here:

If anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer them as best I can. Then again, this is so much sci-fi as to appear to be magical anyway. I think it might have the potential to be better than Age of Wonders 3 - and I'm typically bigger into Fantasy than Sci-Fi as a setting. Not that we have a lot of competition in this space, but it's one of the best 4X games I've played in years. I did report it and provided a save game, so hopefully it's addressed. Thankfully you can re-load a pre-combat auto-save or even the auto save from before the end of the previous turn, so it wasn't a game breaker or anything. I don't really have any complaints, but I did run into a bug twice where during combat an animation would get "stuck" and the game would become unresponsive. Lots of great details, the visuals are excellent (if a little busy - takes a bit of getting used to in order to stop missing stuff on the strategy map, though YMMV there). The combat has a lot of nuance and is just absolutely the best - each unit feels like they have several cool tricks up their sleeve, and I'm fielding (modded) tier 1 and 2 units for the bulk of my army even in the late game (and so is the AI). The diplomacy makes more sense and is more reliable than something like Civilization games tend to be, especially the last one. The AI isn't perfect, but it clearly knows how to play the game. I'll just say it's constantly surprising me and I'm really digging it. It's fantastic so far, but I'm only about 9 hours into it (and the first two hours were a game I actually lost to the Normal AI) so while I'm getting into the end game on my current Syndicate run, I don't think I'm qualified to review it or anything. SCAP Security Guide facilitates automation of configuration and subsequent auditing, and it has several benefits. However, ensuring compliance through automation is often a requirement of security policies. Policies are meant to be read by humans-specifically, administrators-who perform the required configuration and auditors who check if a system is appropriately configured. For example, “Ensure that the root user’s ability to login in to the system is limited.” For example, “Ensure that the root user cannot login through SSH.” But sometimes they can be quite vague. These requirements can vary in their level of detail. If a system meets all mandatory requirements, it is pronounced compliant. Security policies are usually written as a set of requirements. How does it work? Policies, profiles, rules This helps decrease the attack surface of the system.
